A SIGCHI HCI & Sustainability community workshop


At the Workshop

09:00–09:15 Welcome. Organizers present workshop goals and agenda.
09:15–10:30 Participants introduce themselves and summarize their positions. 3 minutes per person.
10:30–11:00 Coffee break. Participants form affinity groups.
11:00–13:00 Affinity groups prepare (1) a collective statement answering the eight questions and (2) a rubric for orienting and evaluating future HCI & Sustainability research.
13:00–14:00 Lunch.
14:00–15:00 Affinity groups present statements and rubrics. Discussion.
15:00–16:45 Organizers guide the whole group in integrating the content into one document.
16:45–17:00 Participants commit to post-workshop activities.
